1. Tell us about yourself! Married? Single? Kids? Hobbies? Interests?
I am currently married. I have two daughters, Kara - 15 and Grace - 10. They are complete opposites and keep me on my toes. They are supportive of my business - what they know about it, anyway. :~) I enjoy being with friends, stamping and scrapbooking - when I have the time. I also enjoy playing Texas Holdem. I'm hoping to run my first 10K in June. It will be a challenge but I’m looking forward to it. I also work full time as a paralegal at a local law firm.
2. How long have you been with BBP?
October 2009.
3. Why did you choose BBP?
It was a spontaneous decision to sign-up. I need humor in my life. I also love being able to help people enhance their sexual well being. Honestly, I think BBP chose me! I was told years ago that I should become a romance rep but I wasn't ready to do it. I was scared to do it because I had this fear of being in an accident and having toys all over the road or in my car. I chose BBP because I loved the logo and my sponsor, Shelby, answered all of my questions at the party I was at and the plethora of emails afterwards when I was considering signing up. I bombarded her and she was awesome. I love the incentives the company offers for new consultants, the benefits and the hostess program is great! My husband is currently unemployed so the extra income is nice!
4. What is your all-time favorite movie?
I have several favorites. I love As Good As It Gets
5. Which of our products do you feel most passionate about? Any tips, tricks, or one-liners you use when you demo it?
I love Body Dew. I say "give a little dew to attract for your whoo-whoo".
6. What is your best booking tip?
With being newer, I have been willing to go out of my general area for parties. I will take leads from the boards that are anywhere from 1 to 2 hours away. I get all excited when I see a lead on the board that I can possibly do. I'm mapping the distance immediately! You need to be willing to go outside of your box. Despite the travel involved, working outside my local area has given me more opportunities than I might otherwise have had, especially at the beginning - and led to some enjoyable parties. Also, always keep trying with your booking ideas at parties. If you find something doesn't work, try something else. Don't get frustrated. You will find something that works. There is no magic pill. Your hard work and effort will pay off if you set the goal.
7. Favorite actor or actress?
None, really.
8. If you could showcase a Brown Bag Party for ANYONE (living, dead, real, or fictional), who would it be and why?
Mona Lisa - I really do want to know what makes her go OOOOOhhhhhhhhh!!
9. You take a 10 day, all-expenses-paid vacation! Where do you go? And who do you take with you?
I would want to go some place warm, secluded and near water. I would take a special person with me that would want to relax, unwind and have a good time, possibly doing nothing!

Wild E Coyote - He never gave up!
11. Who do you admire? And why?
I admire anyone who is willing to admit they are wrong, accept responsibility for their actions and make the corrections necessary, if needed, without resentment. Personal growth is a necessity in life and so many people fight it - Only to realize if they would have accepted the changes, their lives would have changed for the better.
12. Favorite food or restaurant?
There are too many too name!!
13. If we visited your hometown, what is one thing we should definitely see or do?
Come see me! I would love to hang out with you!
14. What is your favorite game(s) to play at parties?
Double Dong and Mold the Penis
15. What motivates you?
Enthusiasm and success. Not necessarily monetary success but knowing that something I've done made a difference in somebody's life - whether my own or in other's lives.
16. You have ONE MILLION DOLLARS! How do you spend it?
New house. Invest. Share with family/friends. Donate.
17. What advice would you give a new consultant just starting her business?
Have FUN! Love what you do. Read. Read. Read. Use the boards. Listen to your peers. They have great ideas and are here to help. You may feel overwhelmed. My business has taken off so fast that it surprised me. Keeping up with the pace and continuing to develop opportunities has been exciting and demanding.
18. What is your most-used BBP resource? (Yahoo Group, .biz site, team website, corporate calls, regional training meeting, etc.) And why do you use it?
Groups and websites. Constant knowledge.
19. Can you share one of your BBP goals with us?
To become a Manager this year.
20. Any last words of wisdom???
Keep your chin up. Enjoy and love what you do. Your enthusiasm is contagious. Know that you are helping people become comfortable with their bodies and enhancing their relationships. This business can be so rewarding for you in many areas of your life. You will meet incredible people. You will make great friends. Your self-confidence will increase. You will find things within you that you didn't know you had!! |
